UPDATE

I haven't written on the blog in a while because I have been sick with a sore throat over the weekend and I am now feeling a little better. I was able to speak in sacrament meeting this past week. My topic was on prayer. It is true that the giver of the talk learns a lot more then the audience does. I am thankful for the things that I learned.

Here are some of the things that we have been up to...............

Today we had some coconut pudding for a snack. I knew that Keegan was going to make a mess of the whole thing so I put him in an apron. This is what he looked like when we were done.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Yesterday was Gerald's Birthday. We went and bought the Audi on his birthday and then we went out to eat. We didn't really do anything spectacular but Gerald said that he had a good birthday. The kids made him some birthday cards and gave them to him when he walked through the door after work.

NEW CAR

Gerald and I decided to sell the Jeep so that we wouldn't have car payments anymore.

And this is what we purchased to replace it

Gerald has always wanted to own an AUDI. When we were able to find one in our price range we couldn't pass it up.

BUGS and ANIMALS

My kids are litterally addicted to animals. We were walking and Mya was quick to point out the snail that was along the sidewalk. Keegan picked it up and threw it into the bushes while Mya was getting as close as she could to examine it.

Take this test!
You're green, the color of growth and vigor. Good-hearted and giving, you have a knack for finding and bringing out the best in people. Green is the most down-to-earth color in the spectrum — reliable and trustworthy. People know they can count on you to be around in times of need, since your concern for people is genuine and sincere. You take pride in being a good friend. For you, success is measured in terms of personal achievement and growth, not by status or position. Rare as emeralds, greens are wonderful, natural people. It truly is your color!

Mya's new Hair

We went over to a ward members house on Monday and she was able to put corn rows in Mya's hair. Mya was so patient sitting there for over two hours watching Shark Tale's. I am thankful that I don't have to comb through her hair for a couple of weeks now.

Pictures of Jamie's Baby

I think my mom got the information wrong on how big Cheyenne was. In one of the pictures it looks like she is 6 lbs 7 oz instead of 6 lbs 2 oz. Anyways here are the pictures.

Taking Kyle to the Airport

We had to make sure that Kyle was full before he got on the airplane and this is what Keegan looked like by the time he was done with what he was eating.

We took Kyle to the airport yesterday so that he could go back to Rexburg. We left early because we wanted to do a little shopping before he had to be at the airport. The kids were starting to get a little restless so we took them over to the play area where they could get some energy out. Keegan was throwing a temper tantrum and spent most of the time on the bench next to me while Mya enjoyed climbing on everything.

Sunday at the Park

It was a nice day today so after we all had our Sunday afternoon naps we got in the car and went over to the park. Mya is such a dare devil going down the big slides.

ROCKETS VS HAWKS

We decided that the dedicated fans go to the games that are going to be blow outs. We left in the middle of the fourth quarter and Rockets were up by 30+ points. Gerald was cheering for the Hawks so that they would make it a game, but that never happened. Rockets lead the whole game. It is always fun to go to the games.

The opening when they are announcing the players and the turn out all the lights.

This was one of their time out entertainment shows. The funny part was when the inflatable bear ate one of the cheerleaders.

Kyle's in Town

Kyle flew in yesterday for a weekend visit. He is going to be staying with us for a few days. He said he really needed a break from the snow in Rexburg, but I think he really needed a vacation from his job at Meleuka.

Last night we went to a children's museum. He had a lot of hands on activites for the kids to learn about science, history, math (basically all the subjects that you didn't like in school). There were a lot of people there and it was fun.
Face Painting: The kids were able to paint their own faces in celebration of chinese luner year. I was suprised when the paint came of with just water. They have come a long way with face paint. I remember scrubbing my face until it was red and then lettting it ware off after a couple of days

Fishing: Kids were able to take fishing nets and collect as many fish as they could. Then they were supposed to count them, but we never got that far before Mya wanted to go to the next exibit.
Play: This was set up as a theater with stuffed animals that the kids could make up and act out their own plays.
Milking the Cow: Us city folks get plastic cows to milk. There was water that came out of the cow instead of milk too.

Chickens: Live chickens that the kids could look at in an exhibit about eggs.
Lego's: You were supposed to count the lego's but most of the kids ended up throwing them instead.

Day at the Zoo

Today Jessicca and I took the kids to the zoo. I know I posted some pictures of the zoo from when we went before but there is so much to see and hopefully there are some new pictures of things that we saw this time that we didn't see last time. Mya and Keegan get so excited about animals. Mya has been asking me when we were going to go and see the garaff's and the elephants again. Here are some pictures of our fun day.
One of our favorite things to do is ride the carosel. Mya of course chose the elephant and Keegan didn't really care what he was on just as long as he got a turn.

This is my favorite picture of the kids together.
This is really cool. It is a tunnel that you can crawl through that will take you inside the aquarium of fish.
This is the famous Jessicca that I am always talking about. I am so thankful for her friendship.
